Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, is facing intense public scrutiny following bold actions by two of his children who have openly rejected Islam and declared beliefs that directly contradict the faith.
Ibrahim El-Rufai, the eldest son from the former governor’s first wife, Hajiya Hadiza, has publicly declared that he no longer believes in the existence of God and has completely abandoned the Islamic religion.
He made these statements openly through a series of videos posted on his Instagram page.
Similarly, Balkisu (also known as Bilqis), the eldest daughter from El-Rufai’s second wife, Barrister Asiya, has announced to the world that she is a proud advocate for the protection and rights of the LGBTQ community (lesbian/gay).
Notably, both children currently reside abroad.
So far, no family member has come forward to either deny or confirm the circulating reports, especially after the emergence of controversial photos and videos in which both individuals confidently defend their new beliefs without any sign of remorse.
As a result, strong pressure is mounting on their father, Nasir El-Rufai, to publicly intervene and address his children’s actions before the matter escalates further.
