Ugbo Ward 1 APC Leaders had condemned and given Rt. Hon Akinruntan Abayomi 72 Hours to Retract His Surreptitious anti party activities or Face the Party Disciplinary Action.
The unabated erratical political behavior of Rt. Hon Akinruntan Abayomi within the APC fold in Ondo State generally and the deleterious consequence for Ugbo Ward 1 leaders in particular had necessitated the meeting held by the leaders on 15th of September 2025 to x-ray his account of stewardship.
The resolutions reached at the meeting are as follows;
(1) That, the leaders received the sad news of purported impeachment threat against the speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Chief) Olamide Oladiji Adesanmi with rude shock , wondering what could have prompted Hon Akinruntan Abayomi to descend so low by implausibly attempting impossibility. Or do we say transfer of bitterness cum aggression?
(2) That, the leaders of APC ,Ugbo Ward 1 could not fathom the persuasively causative viewpoint Hon Akinruntan Abayomi may want to float in justifying his unpopular impeachment threat against the speaker having failed to keep his ward leaders abreast. This too testifies to Hon member’s inaccessibility and blurred communication to his ward and constituency, Ilaje 1.
(3) That, the leaders having x-rayed and thoroughly evaluated the political journey of Hon Akinruntan Abayomi since his emergence as a member of Ondo State House of Assembly, we have discovered that his political story has been patterned around negativity and backwardness which has brought a seriously irredeemable huge set back to Ugbo Ward 1.
(4) That, the leaders noted with nostalgia at the meeting that Hon Akinruntan Abayomi has been acting on the current of air, and this points to the fact that he was only a coup executor but not the planner /mastermind. It was also undisputed at the meeting that there were forces within and beyond Ondo State recruiting foot soldiers to destabilize the peaceful State. The Ugbo 1 leaders, therefore warned Hon Akinruntan Abayomi and his cohorts to immediately desist from their anti-democratic voyage that might end in fiasco and self- immolation.
(5) That, the APC leaders of Ugbo Ward 1 having considered how past poor representation and bad political antecedents of Hon Akinruntan Abayomi has been hunting the people and the entire ward, therefore unanimously condemned the unholy act of recklessness, dogmatic and reactionary political ideology, poor human relations to party members, lack of respect for constituted authorities, excessive supercilious ego, and cataletic democratic dividends to the people of the ward and Ilaje constituency 1 at large.
(6) That, consequent upon the afore said, the leaders had given directive to Hon Akinruntan Abayomi to within the time frame of 72 hours withdraw his impeachment threat against Rt Hon (Chief )Olamide Oladiji Adesanmi, the Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly and amend his way otherwise APC Ugbo Ward 1 would activate its disciplinary arsenal against him.
To be fore warned is to be fore armed.
