APC EKITI TAKES A UNIFIED STAND: Party Adopts Consensus Mode for 2026 Governorship Primary Election
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced its decision to adopt the consensus mode for the conduct of its governorship primary election in Ekiti State, paving the way for a united front ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
This development follows the voluntary withdrawal of one of the two cleared aspirants, Mrs. Atinuke Oluremi Omolayo, who has thrown her support behind Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as the consensus candidate. The party has commended Mrs. Omolayo for her spirit of sportsmanship and commitment to party unity.
