STATEMENT ON OUTCOME OF CONSULTATIONS ON 2027 GENERAL ELECTIONS
I present special and warm compliments to Your Royal Majesties, political and religious leaders and the distinguished people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
As the 2027 general elections approach, I have in the past few months engaged in wide consultation with party leaders and faithfuls at both the National, state and local government levels, traditional rulers in Ilaje/Ese-Odo and it’s environs including all stakeholders.
My consultations has been aimed at sampling the opinion of our people whose mandate I desire to seek in the forthcoming general elections.
From my wide consultations, it is clear to me that the majority opinion so far is that I should contest for the seat of the House of Representatives for Ilaje/ Ese-Odo Federal Constituency under the platform of our great party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
I wish to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to all our party leaders at the National Headquarters for standing by and believing in me. I also wish to pledge my unalloyed loyalty to our people for trusting in my capacity to deliver the dividends of democracy to them, as expressed during my consultations, this trust was earned through my relentless and visible efforts over the years in fighting the course of our people.
I specially acknowledged and appreciate the guidance of our Royal Fathers in Ilaje/Ese-Odo. Ki ade pe lori, ki bata pe lese. I believe that with your continued guidance, I shall realise this mandate for the benefit of our people.
