ILAJE, ONDO STATE – In a powerful display of philanthropy and community spirit, the Eyitemi Foundation has successfully rounded up the fifth phase of its Widows Outreach program, touching lives across the riverine landscapes of Ilaje.
The four-day mission, which commenced on January 27th and concluded today, January 30th, served as a beacon of hope for hundreds of widows across ten key communities. Under the visionary chairmanship of Prince Samuel Malumi, the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of the vulnerable, ensuring that those often forgotten are given a sense of belonging and support.
A Journey of Compassion
The outreach kicked off with a vibrant start at Igboegunrin and moved systematically through the heart of Ilaje, reaching:
• Aboto
• Idiogba
• Abereke
• Etikan
• Etugbo
• Moferere
• Igbolomi
• Itebu Kunmi
In each location, the foundation didn’t just provide aid; they built bridges. The team engaged in meaningful dialogues with traditional rulers, youth leaders, and prominent stakeholders, ensuring the mission was rooted in community respect and cooperation.
Leadership and Coordination
The success of this phase was a testament to meticulous planning and heart-led service. The outreach was respectfully supervised and coordinated by Mr. Adebanjo Oke, the Foundation’s Education Director. Under his guidance, the team navigated the unique terrain of the Ilaje local government to ensure that every designated community received its share of the foundation’s benevolence.
Speaking on the conclusion of the event, representatives noted that the foundation’s goal remains focused on sustainable impact. By meeting with community leaders, the Eyitemi Foundation is not only providing immediate relief but also fostering long-term relationships that will benefit the people of Ilaje for years to come.
The Visionary Behind the Mission
Chairman Prince Samuel Malumi continues to drive the Eyitemi Foundation with a philosophy of “People First.” This Phase 5 outreach stands as a milestone in his ongoing effort to alleviate the hardships faced by widows, providing them with essential supplies and the assurance that they are not alone in their journey.
