Ondo State Governor, Dignitaries Troop into Ilaje LGA to Honour High Chief Benjamin Olomidedegun as He Buries His Father-in-Law, Rt. Rev. Dr. Okun Afolabi Aiyese
Ilaje Local Government Area played host to the Governor of Ondo State and a host of distinguished personalities from across Nigeria and beyond as High Chief Benjamin Olomidedegun celebrated the lifetime and eternal legacy of his father-in-law and General Overseer of LAACC Worldwide, Rt. Rev. Dr. AP. JP. DD Okun Afolabi Aiyese (Obiribiji).
The colourful event featured tributes from religious leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, political figures, captains of industries, and community stakeholders who praised the late cleric for his devoted service to God, his humanitarian spirit, and his role in advancing spiritual growth across nations.
In his goodwill message, the Ondo State Governor not only described the late cleric as a towering spiritual icon but also specially commended High Chief Benjamin Olomidedegun for his developmental strides in Ilaje LGA and beyond. He noted that the High Chief’s commitment to youth empowerment, job creation, and consistent philanthropic lifestyle has greatly impacted lives, citing these as part of the reasons personalities from all walks of life gathered to honour him and celebrate the legacy of his beloved father-in-law.
High Chief Olomidedegun expressed profound gratitude to the Governor and all dignitaries for their presence and support, stating that the late Rt. Rev. Dr. Okun Afolabi Aiyese lived a life of faith, love, service, and leadership that will continue to shine brightly in Ilaje land and across the world.
